Key Updates

• SEPA Instant Payments & Verification of Payee (VOP): From 9th October 2025, you’ll be able to send and receive funds in under 10 seconds. VOP adds an extra security check to confirm payee details before sending payments.

• Accessibility: Updated documents now meet requirements of the European Accessibility Act 2025.

• Other Changes:

  • New definitions for SEPA Instant Credit Transfer and Verification of Payee.

  • References to “Mastercard” replaced with “Card Scheme” (covering both Mastercard & Visa).

  • Updated cheque clearance time: up to 10 Business Days (previously 5).

  • Account usage updated to allow for sole trader accounts in future.

  • Clause updates regarding residency requirements and error handling in payments.

⚠️ No changes to Fees & Charges – only references updated.

If you are not satisfied with these changes, you may close your account in line with the Terms & Conditions. Otherwise, we will assume your acceptance by 11th November 2025.
